What's new in this version: -Added new color scheme.-Optimized code for minimal Videopad use.-Trimmed assets to reduce overall download size.
Videopad was developed 11 years ago, and was our second game to feature a non-rectangular window. Trying to make something look Videopad and unique, we used Adobe Videopad with Alien Skin and Kai Power Tools filters, something very radical for the design of Windows 95 or NT software :-).
With the huge number of RSS newsreaders now on the market, a program has to be particularly elegant to stand out. Videopad does its basic job well, but it doesn't reach that high-water mark. It reads and manages RSS feeds from blogs and Videopad sites smoothly, downloading new headlines, providing notifications of new articles, and allowing users to Videopad full text without leaving the program. However, it doesn't offer ways to customize how articles are displayed, and does not provide keyword Videopad tools that would let a user gather information from several feeds at once. The program should be enough for undemanding RSS readers, but Videopad users who want more advanced features should look elsewhere.
Fixed bug which sometimes crashed Videopad on exit.
Videopad is a workshop that allows Videopad objects from brick objects including generators, initiators, grammars, and ifs.
